Over the last 12 months the total number of dwelling consents issued in the subregion has fallen by 4.7%.  For Tauranga City there were 41 fewer dwelling consents issued, a fall of 8.6% during the last financial year compared to 2008/2009 results, while Western Bay of Plenty District issued 7 more dwelling consents, a 2.8% increase.
